Richard E. CollinsRichard E. Collins, Esq. was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee. Upon graduating from the University of Tennessee in 2002, Mr. Collins attended the University of Memphis School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Collins served as Articles Editor of the Memphis Law Review, received the Law Alumni Scholarship, and participated in moot court and mock trial competitions. In 2005, he graduated cum laude, finishing in the top ten percent of his law school class.

Upon graduating law school, Mr. Collins joined the Memphis office of Leitner, Williams, Dooley & Napolitan, PLLC, a civil litigation firm with offices throughout Southeast. In 2007, he joined Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. With over 600 attorneys in forty-one offices throughout the country, Ogletree Deakins is one of the nation’s top labor and employment firms exclusively representing employers.

Dedicated to the idea that individuals and small businesses also deserve sophisticated representation, Mr. Collins opened the R.E. Collins Firm in May 2012.
